Legoland Brick Or Treat 2025

Legoland Windsor Brick or Treat, October 2025

More Halloween Happenings over at Legoland Windsor for Brick or Treat 2025!

We were ‘down south’ on a 2 day trip to get some Halloween theme park action in before the end of the season. Day one took us to Thorpe Park and the busiest theme park I’ve ever seen, whilst day 2 was at Legoland Windsor. After the previous day of queues and chaos, we were expecting the same at Legoland, but with a lot less frights and shouty teenagers. As it happens though, it was one of the best days we’ve had at Legoland in quite some time.

Small Queues!

It was October 31st, Halloween day itself so we were expecting it to be mega busy with families celebrating Legoland’s Brick or Treat event, but the dull weather must have put a lot of people off as it was fairly quiet all day. It’s always good when you don’t have to wait forever to get on a ride and we managed to get on quite a few. We hit Minifigure Speedway first thing on a 30 minute queue, which wasn’t bad. And FINALLY after several visits and attempts, me and Evan got our coaster cred for the blue ‘Legends’ track!.

We had a few front-row rides on Elliott’s fave ‘The Dragon’ with 10-30min waits, walk-ons on ‘Lego Deep Sea Adventure’, ‘Spinning Spider’ and ‘Merlin’s Challenge’, and short waits for ‘Fire and Ice Freefall’, ‘Haunted House Monster Party’ and ‘Legoland Express’. The longest queue of the day was 45 mins for ‘Flight of the Sky Lion’ because it started to rain and everyone headed indoors for shelter. Last ride of the day was ‘Dragon’s Apprentice’ which is always slow, but we had the last train of the day all to ourselves which was great fun in the dark.

Legoland Express Refreshed

We hadn’t been on the train for some time and as we were having a leisurely meander around the park, we decided to jump on for a lap. I remember seeing they’d refreshed the models on the ride but it felt completely different. All of the models looked brand new, with several animatronics I don’t remember. Onboard audio, is that new too? It was a much improved ride. Great to see it looking so clean and fun. We walked past it later and it looked like they’d added lighting for the evening rides which made it look more fun to ride at night. Definitely have to try that in the future.

Brick Or Treat

The Halloween event, Brick or Treat, was slightly different from last years offering. Previously, they had a ‘trick or treat’ walk-through area with monster cut-outs, decorations and actors leading to the booths to get some sweets and a polybag.

This year it was a 3 booth treasure hunt around the park. Stop one at the top of the hill by the entrance gave you a checklist to get stamped and your first prize: a pop badge. Stop 2 was down near Knights Kingdom, giving a small bag of Haribo and the final stop was in Mythica where you got a poster of Vampyre’s Halloween Party. Not quite the offerings from previous, but a nice little trail with freebies for the kids.

Other Brick or Treat Happenings

Over in the Brick, there were some Halloween themed building challenges: You could build a random ‘Potion’ to get a pop badge, or you could build a section of the giant mosaic and add your section in. We spent a while in here doing a few sections of mosaic and building pumpkins and dragons. Evan built a pumpkin monster which was pretty cool too!

Down in Heartlake City there were some shows on. One was the Lego monsters playing some songs and the other was a Halloween song and dance show. Just as we got there for the dance show one of the girls must have slipped and hurt themselves and the show was over before it started. It was wet out so probably wasn’t a wise decision to send them out dancing on a wet floor.

Over at Monster House Party there was a stage in the queue line. We joined the queue just in time to see Lord Vampyre’s House Party, playing some spooky tunes and dancing on the stage.

Around the park there were lots of Halloween decorations, pumpkins, webs, Lego monsters and more. The park also had a great lighting package working too. We’ve never seen Legoland by night and it looked so good. The Monster House Party building was bathed in reds, greens and purples with patterns flashing across the facade like bats, along with the smoke-filled bubbles blowing across the front. The Brick or Treat Logo was illuminated in greens and reds and the castle in Knights Kingdom was glowing green outside, red inside with Halloween bunting, giant pumpkins and the customary giant spider hanging on the wall outside. Great stuff!

This year the three giant pumpkin heads that usually stand at the top of the hill were out in front of the new entrance portal for some great photo ops. This was the first time I’d seen the new entrance in person and it looks great. It had been webbed up for Halloween too!

Food and Drink

The Hungry troll, the fish and chips cafe in Mythica, was open (it rarely has been on our visits) and the kids wanted fish for dinner. They picked up some scampi and the kids fish and chips meal, but we did notice Halloween themed items. They had Scary Scampi – scampi with spring onions, chillies and spicy Mayo, and a fried Oreo dessert. The scampi was a bit pricey at about £9, so we gave that a miss and the kids weren’t feeling the Oreo. We did also spot some fun ice cream offerings over at wizards Frozen Wonders in Knights Kingdom and others around the park.

Scary Scampi indeed!

The freestyle machines also had a selection of Fanta Halloween mixes too. They had Monster Mix, Frightful Fizzer, Punchbowl Brew and Cherry Chiller. We had a Freestyle cup on hand so tried them all. Each a different fruity combo with Monster Mix and Cherry Chiller the standouts for us.

A Late Finish

After spotting The Dragon on a 10 minute queue we dashed down to Knights Kingdom to finish our day with rides on the Dragon and Dragon’s Apprentice. The rides were closed as it was just after 5pm when we’d completed out final lap on Apprentice… In the dark! The park looks so good at night. We slowly walked back from the Castle to the Monster House Party to see them at night, strolled through Miniland which had several areas illuminated, onwards and upwards to the exit which itself was covered with an orangey glow. They really should do more with Legoland at night.

Time To Go Home

We’d had a great day. We did everything we wanted to do, did all the Brick or Treat things, enjoyed a night walk of the park, and got my final Legoland coaster credit. When you’re expecting chaos and you get reasonable weather and short queues its always a winner. The kids were happy and so were we. One last look around the Big Shop, which had some Halloween bundles (Lego pumpkin truck, ghost light keyring, sweets in a fancy bag for £35) and headed to the entrance to take some pictures by the pumpkins.

Only thing left was a 4 hour drive home.

Adios Legoland Windsor. Until next time. Christmas is coming, and so is my birthday. Might have to get my name on the Legoland birthday board!
